Yankee Stadium Macombs Dam Park, Parking Garage A/C

Impact Environmental was hired by Prismatic Hunter Roberts to perform soil testing, consulting, transportation and disposal services of soils being removed to complete the Yankee Stadium sporting complex in Yonkers, New York. Over 100,000 tons of material was removed for the construction of parking garages "A" and "C". The majority of the soil was removed from New York City's Macombs Dam Park and included significant volumes of natural weathered schist bedrock. Small volumes of slag waste were encountered on portions of the site requiring management as "Historic Fill".
The project was completed within all temporal and financial guidelines established by the Client. Impact Environmental prides itself on the ability to work within project deadlines and without unnecessary change orders that can destroy a project's budgets.
